A Commitment to Staff Counsel
Claims Litigation is the staff counsel operation of Farmers Insurance Exchange, a member of Farmers Insurance Group of Companies. Our dedicated professionals include approximately 400 attorneys and three hundred support staff operating in legal offices in 30 states.* We counsel and defend policyholders in claims covered by auto, homeowners and business policies issued by the various insurers operating under the Farmers Insurance Group service mark. We represent insureds at hearings, depositions, mediations, settlement conferences and trials. Additionally, our attorneys represent the various insurers operating under the Farmers Insurance Group service mark in first party matters such as Subrogation, Workers Compensation, Personal Injury Protection and Uninsured / Underinsured claims among others.
We are proud of our inclusive culture and encourage all employees to bring their authentic selves to work. We celebrate the wide diversity of thought, experiences and ideas that make each of us unique. Our motto is: "Every person, every perspective, every day.” As a result of that philosophy, we are able to connect better with our clients and attract and cultivate diverse talent.
*Claims Litigation is not a national law firm. Each legal office is independently established pursuant to the State Bar requirements for the local jurisdiction. While all attorneys in each office are employees of Farmers Insurance Exchange, at all times they exercise independent legal judgment in representing their client(s) consistent with the jurisdiction’s rules of professional responsibility.
